“I went to Oberammergau to see the Passion Play in 2000 and had never been to Europe before.  My entire trip was delightful.  I booked my trip through Wilcox World Travel and Tours, and went with a group from First United Methodist Church in Durango, Colorado, not knowing a single person on the trip….not even my roommate.  It could not have been a better fit for me to go and have such a wonderful experience.

“For Christmas 1998, my two daughters gave the trip to me, with the option of choosing any dates and travel group with whom I chose to travel.

“After researching and talking with several travel companies, I chose to travel with Wilcox Travel, and never looked back nor regretted that move.  Robin Cady was the person who took care of all my questions then as well as now. She helped me find the group with which I traveled and that was a very good fit, also.

“That trip I enjoyed in 2000 was the 10 Day Historic Germany and Czech Republic.  Our last two days were in Oberammergau and needless to say it was the highlight of the trip for me.  I enjoyed the whole trip immensely, but I was moved beyond expectation by the power and majesty of the play.  My greatest expectations were dwarfed by my experience.  There is no doubt that this play is divinely inspired.  God’s handprints are all over it.  My life was forever changed since that experience.

“This year, for the 2010 production of the play, I wanted to share my experience with my daughters.  So they were both invited.  Much to my regret, one of my daughters is not able to go.  So maybe that means I will need to return in 2020!
